Mr. William Mart Smith, Jr., age 88, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

William was born on Monday, March 9, 1936, in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late William Mart Smith, Sr. and the late Susie Mae Kelly Smith.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rayford Smith.

 William loved his family and friends very much. He loved having gatherings with his family. He had a love for being outdoors, especially deep-sea fishing and being on a lake fishing.

 William is survived by his sons, Barry Smith (Jenny), Randy Deel (Kathy), Dwayne Brown (Dawn); grandchildren, Craig Smith (Ashlea), Jacob Smith, Lucas Smith, Destiny Smith, Dustin Deel (Armando), Christopher Brown (Maxine), Geoffrey Brown, Hank Reamy (Kirsten); great-grandchildren, Tucker, Christopher Jr., Paige, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 A Graveside Service for Mr. William Mart Smith, Jr. will be held Saturday February 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church Cemetery, with Pastor David Dawson officiating. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church.
