Mrs. Mary Helen Maynard Brown, age 80, of Yatesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Helen was born on Wednesday, August 23, 1944, in Yatesville, Georgia, to the late James Abner Maynard, and the late Sally Fowler Maynard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Brown; sister, Carolyn Manry.

 

Helen was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved talking to her friends on the phone. She enjoyed watching old Western shows, and Hallmark movies. She worked for William Carter Company for 30 years.

 

She is survived by, daughter, Traci Warren (Steve) ; son, Derek Brown; grandchildren, Elizabeth Warren, Peyton Warren, Rebecca Warren, Madison Brown (Ian), Kileigh Brown.

 

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Helen Brown will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at Antioch Baptist Church Yatesville, Georgia, with

Dr. Jeffrey Morgan officiating. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
