


Obituary of James David Stallings
Mr. James David Stallings, age 73, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on Sunday, October 21, 1951, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late James Ervin Stallings and the late Jimmie Claire Barlett Stallings. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda White; stepfather, Roger Tenney.
David served in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for William Carters Company for 15 plus years. He was a member of Barnesville First United Methodist Church. He loved watching Georgia football, going fishing, watching Atlanta Falcons and The Atlanta Braves. He also loved watching movies and reading books.
David is survived by his sister, Debra Matthews (Randy); nephews, Brian Matthews (Amy), Douglas Matthews (Kayle); nieces, Denise Chute (Kelvin), Ashley Odom (Alvin McDaniel). Several great nieces, great nephews, and extended family members.
A Graveside Service for Mr. James David Stallings will be held Saturday March 22, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at Lamar Memory Gardens Cemetery, Pastor David Dawson officiating. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home.
