Mrs. Stella S. Jordan, age 80, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Stella was born on Sunday, August 27, 1944, in Barnesville, Georgia, to the late E. G. Scandrick and Ethel Mae Ballard Scandrick. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jordan, niece, Connie Rogers, nephew, Hubert Rogers, Jr.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Elizabeth B. Rogers; nieces, Sharon Rogers of Barnesville, Melinda Rogers Ball of Fredericksburg, Virginia; nephews, Deacon James Baker Jr., Leonard Lovelace, Sammie Shropshire, Dan Bankston (Allison). Several cousins.

 

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Stella Jordan will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at West Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Warren F. Akins officiating. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
