Obituary of Melanie Deveeta Weaver

Ms. Melanie Deveeta Weaver, age 48, of Attapulgus, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 08, 2025.

Melanie was born on Tuesday, December 21,1976, in Jonesboro, Georgia to the late Pete Weaver and Doreen Myrtle Pressley Maddox. She is preceded in death by her father, Pete Weaver.

Melanie was formerly a Tow Truck Driver. Gardening, mowing grass and going to concerts were some of her favorite things to do in life. She enjoyed working with Chris installing cabinets. But being a “NANA” to her grandchildren was her all-time favorite.

Melanie is survived by her partner, Chris Gee; children, Brianna Anderson (Clay Donald), Brooke Anderson (Cam), Tabitha Anderson (Christopher Smith); grandchildren, Mia Donald, Elliott Anderson, Atticus Smith, Jaxton Donald; mother & stepfather, Doreen and Merrill Maddox; sisters, Melissa Weaver, Sonya & Shea Holt; brothers, Scott & Brandy Weaver, Jason Weaver; in-laws, Charles & Sandra Gee, several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Melanie Weaver will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Weaver officiating. Friends may visit with family on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Williams Westbury Funeral Home.
