Obituary of Terri Lynn Mathews

Ms. Terri Lynn Mathews, age 61, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Terri was born on Wednesday, May 13, 1964, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Ralph Roquemore and Hazel Marie Griffin Roquemore. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Roquemore, brother, John Roquemore, former husband, William Terrell Piper, Jr., fur baby, Bruiser.

Terri loved spending time with her family and friends. Terri was a member of Rock Springs Church; her Church home was Ramah Primitive Baptist Church. She loved her two dogs. She enjoyed watching TV shows, FRIENDS and M.A.S.H., watching hummingbirds, and having root beer or Dr.Pepper

Terri is survived by her son, Trey Piper (Brooke); grandchildren, Paisley Piper, Luna Piper; brothers, Bill Roquemore (Tracey), Rick Roquemore (Helen); special nephew, John Patrick Roquemore; very special best friends, Pam Glassco, Lisa Haire-Kelley; dog, Baby, several nieces nephews and extended family.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Terri Lynn Mathews will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church, with Pastor Pat McCoy and Reverend Chip Garrison officiating. Friends may visit with family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Church.
