Mrs. Julie Albright, age 76, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
Julie was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1948, in Barnesville , Georgia to the late Charles Sumter Belote, and the late Kathleen Grogan. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Sumter Belote II and David Bishop.
Julie dedicated her career to serving the State of Georgia as an investigator with the Department of Corrections, where she was highly respected by her colleagues for her integrity, diligence, and unwavering commitment to justice. She was a devoted animal lover, always caring for and advocating for the well-being of animals. She also had a passion for vegetable gardening, where she found peace and fulfillment. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as being a “Tough Old Bird”.
Julie is survived by her husband; Bruce Albright, son; Brian Evans (Julie), grandchildren; Emily Monroe (Jeremy), Victoria Platt (Jacob), Sarah Evans, Jonathon Evans (Jordan), great-grandchildren; Cali Evans, Jack Evans, Reece Monroe, Owen Monroe, Violet Platt, Preston Lue, Paizlee Muncy, sister; Suzanne Adams, and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will hold a celebration of life at their home at a later date.
