Obituary of Pamela Jean Golden

Pamela Jean Golden, 65, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 6:45 PM, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was born on Friday, November 13, 1959, in Barnesville, to the late Sanford Brooks and Elsie Mae Nicholas Brooks. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, David Brooks, Jimmy Nicholas, Sarah Ritchie, Brenda Brooks, Frances Smith, and Carol Brooks.

Pam loved helping other people when she could. She loved her life partner George New and her son, and grandchildren. She loved going fishing with George. She loved her family.

Pam is survived by her life partner, George New, son: Danny Golden: grandchildren, Dakota Golden (Kierra), Alexandria Fetting (Jacob), Mackenzie Golden, great-grandchildren, Jacob Fetting and Ellie Simmons,, siblings: Sam Brooks (Kathy), Sandra Lohnes, Bill Brooks, Lea Kendrick (Johnny): sisters-in-law, Lun Brooks, Carlene Wainwright; brother-in-law, Dwight Smith; nieces, Tracey Shepherd, Melissa Cline, Krai Brooks, Jeanette Fuller, Krystal Netstlehutt, Kathy Sheets, Jennifer Freeman, Jackie Roberts, Shelley Wilborn, nephews; Mark Brooks, Jonathan Kendrick, Douglas Smith, Brian Nicholas; best friend, Cecile Foster, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Pamela Golden will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, 1:00 P.M. at the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene, 744 Veterans Parkway, Barnesville, GA 30204, with Pastor Mark Henson officiating. Friends may visit family on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00P.M. at the Church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.
