Obituary of Thomas Allen Haddock
Thomas Allen Haddock, 77, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Allen was born on Thursday, June 10, 1948, in Macon, to the late John Thomas Haddock and Marie Pauline McCleod Haddock. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Haddock and Dennis Haddock.
Allen worked at Piggly Wiggly for 23 years before opening Haddocks Grocery in 1987. Shortly after, he opened a few more stores, started cattle farming, house and land developing. In 1994, he started chicken farming where he farmed for 31 years. In his last 10 years, he purchased and sold two bars before passing away. He was an avid gun collector and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Allen is survived by his wife of 59 years; Glenda Haddock, children; Cody Haddock (Christy), Kelley Haddock (Jeannie), grandchildren; Payton Blalock (Troy), Ashley Haddock, Kirk Haddock (Chasity), Jake Haddock (Kaylee), great grandson; Raylan Haddock along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Thomas Allen Haddock will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams-Westbury Funeral Home 526 College Drive Barnesville, GA 30204, with Mr. Tommy Darity officiating. Friends may visit the family on December 5, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00P.M. at the Funeral Home. A Private Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.
