Obituary of Anna "Angie" Williams

Ms. Anna “Angie” Williams, age 78, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Angie was born on Saturday, August 9, 1947, in Wertheim, Germany to the late Stefon Safranek, and the late Katarina Houser Safranek. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

 

Angie worked for William Carter Company for 15 years in Barnesville, Georgia. She was a loving baby (to Joe), mother and Oma, spending time with her family was always a favorite of hers. Friday nights were her movie night with her “favorite” grandson. She loved sewing, and crocheting blankets or table doilies for her family and friends. Angie was also known for loving to cook dinners for her family. She and Joe would go shopping at Walmart at least twice a month and then going to eat some fresh fried fish, which was always a joy to them both. She was loved, and she will be missed.

 

Angie is survived by her partner for over 30 years; Joe Reppen; daughters, Tina Boyd (David), Viola Miller (Jeff); son, Gary Safranek; grandchildren, Brian Logan, Michael Boyd, Eric Boyd; sister, Rosa Taylor, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
