Obituary of James "Donnie" Donald Jones

Mr. James Donald “Donnie” Jones, age 74, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Donnie was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1951, in Milner, Georgia, to the late Thomas Wayne Jones and the late Elizabeth Bunn Jones. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Brumbelow.

His girlfriend Rebecca never left his side, 24/7, 365 days. He was loved by his family & friends, he will be missed dearly.

Donnie is survived by his girlfriend of 23 years, Rebecca Parks; sister, Gala Ginn

(Cal); brother, Wayne Jones (Janet); niece, Abbegale Ginn; nephews, David Jones, Daniel Jones; brother, Dewayne Martin. Several extended family members in Milner, Georgia.

A Memorial Service for Mr. James Donald “Donnie” Jones will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home, with Reverend Chip Garrison officiating. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
