Obituary of Shirley Ann Smith

Ms. Shirley Ann Smith, age, 69 of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born on Friday, October 12, 1956, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late John “Buck” Malvin Smith and the late Edna Elizabeth McMahon Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant brother, Thomas Smith.

Shirley lived out Gods Purpose of Life, by serving others. Many years of Nursing, AA and drug abuse counseling. She was known for her caring, loving attitude with a smile and a big Shirley hug, she will be missed and remembered by many. She loved her family and friends and now is with Jesus and those who passed before her. She was received at the gate by Jesus and got a long Miss Edna hug.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Ronald Smith (Betty); nieces, Nealy Keith (Michael), Marci Vining (Daniel); nephew, Matthew Smith (Christa); great nieces, McKenna Strom, Maddie Smith, Emily Keith; great nephews, Charlie Strom, Maddox Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make a donation in Memory of Shirley Smith to Atrium Health Naviceint Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, 756 First Street Macon, Georgia 31201

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home, with Pastor Cole Smith and Pastor David Dawson officiating. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 12:00P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
