Obituary of Douglas Edwin Smelley

Mr. Douglas Smelley 61, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Macon, Georgia.

Douglas attended Hapeville High School and became a welder fabricator. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves, he also enjoyed listening to music.

 He is preceded in death by his parents Travis and Patsy Smelley, and brother Lamar Smelley. Mr. Smelley is survived by his loving daughter Anna Smelley, his sister Michele Bullock (Lonnie); also 3 nephews Jeff Smelley, Ryan Bullock, Cameron Smelley, and 2 nieces Ashley Tingle, Hope Stegall, and several cousins.

A Funeral service will be held for Mr. Douglas Smelley on Monday, July 3, 2023, in Breedlove Memorial Chapel in Barnesville, Georgia at 3:30pm.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:30pm until 3:30pm.at Williams-Westbury Funeral home. Officiating the service will be Reverend Joshua Rainbolt. Interment will follow service at Greenwood cemetery.
