Obituary of Rebecca Ann Young

Mrs. Rebecca Ann “Becky” Wigley Classen Young, age 63, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Becky was born on Sunday, May 22, 1960, in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Curtis Edward Wigley and the late Gladys Christine Strickland. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her siblings, Keith Wigley and Jan Strickland.

She was very outgoing as she enjoyed spending her time outdoors. You would find her involved in activities such as planting flowers, kayaking, and hunting. Becky loved music, from listening to wind chines to attending music fests. The holidays were some of her favorite things. But above all, Becky absolutely loved and cherished her family and helping others.

Becky is survived by loving husband, David Louis Young; children and spouses, Jason Classen (Misty), Curtis Classen (Brittany), James Classen (Jeanette); grandchildren, Brandon Classen, Khloe Priest, Journey Classen, Jaxton Classen, Sabrina Classen, Annabell Classen, Hayden Classen, Jordan Classen, Josiah Classen; great-grandson, Thomas Classen.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rebecca Ann “Becky” Wigley Classen Young will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Missionary Chad Taylor officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
