Obituary of Etsel McDaniel

Mr. Etsel McDaniel, age 80, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mr. McDaniel is the Son of the late Mr. Henry McDaniel and the late Mrs. Sunie Elizabeth Peppers McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel worked at the William Carter Company for 42.5 years where he served as Plant Manager. Mr. McDaniel was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid camper, he loved bingo, he was very active and there was nothing that he could not fix. Survivors include: Wife – Betty McDaniel of Barnesville ; 3 Sons – Kenneth McDaniel (& Rhonda) of Whitmire SC, Barry McDaniel of Whitmire SC, and Scott McDaniel (& Tami) of Iva SC ; Daughter – Ashley McDaniel of Cleveland ; 3 Step Children – Roger Brown of Barnesville, Glenn Brown of Meansville, and Lisa Paradis of Fayetteville and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Etsel McDaniel will be conducted Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 4 O’clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.
