Obituary of Lonny Wright

Mr. Lonny Glen Wright, age 48, of Barnesville passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 in Griffin, GA. Mr. Wright was a lifelong resident of Lamar County, and was the son of Mr. Howard C. Wright and Mrs. Jackie Scott Wright. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Pamela Lynn Thornquest. He was a Roofing Contractor and a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wright was a fan of hometown sports. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Braves. Mr. Wright is survived by his parents - Mr. Howard & Jackie Wright of Barnesville ; 3 sisters – Mrs. Delores (& Millard) Hurst of Milner ; Mrs. Sheila (& Danny) Faulkner of Jackson ; & Mrs. Tammy (& Terry) Wright of Barnesville ; A Brother – Mr. Johnny Wright of Barnesville ; 11 Nieces and Nephews ; & 20 Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Lonny Wright will be conducted on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 2 O’clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Don King officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.
