Obituary of Margaret Greer

Mrs. Margaret Frances Farmer Greer, age 89, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 in a Savannah Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Greer was a native of Rockdale County, and was born to the late Mr. Runnie Mayer Farmer and the late Mrs. Uri Roebuck Farmer, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Elmo Dee Greer. Mrs. Greer was a Home Maker and a member of the Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Rockdale County. Mrs. Greer is survived by: 3 Sons - Edwin (& Sharon) Greer of Barnesville ; Ted (& Joanne) Greer of Savannah, & Ricky (& Sarah) Greer of Rome ; 1 Brother - Harvey (& Margaret) Farmer of Conyers ; 1 Sister - Julia (&George) Ivey of Alpharetta ; 5 Grandchildren, & 11 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Greer will be conducted from the Graveside on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 2:30pm in the Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rockdale County. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 5pm until 7pm.
