Obituary of Jennie Roquemore

Mrs. Jennie D Milner Bussey Roquemore, age 85, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, February, 10, 2011 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Roquemore was born in Zebulon, but had made her home in Lamar County for most of her life. Daughter of the late Mr. John Holmes Milner and the late Mrs. Bessie Cannafax Milner, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Mr. Jimmy Bussey and Mr. Sammy Bussey. Mrs. Roquemore retired, as a Textile Worker, from the William Carter Company after 30 years of service. She was a member of Milner Baptist Church. Survivors Include: Her Son - Willis (&Barbara) Bussey of Barnesville ; 1 Step-Son – James (& Darlene) Roquemore of Griffin ; Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren ; 2 Sisters – Mrs. Ruth Housch & Mrs. Helen Osborne; as well as her loving church family at Milner Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jennie D Roquemore will be conducted Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Ben Taylor officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday evening, February 12, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
