Obituary of Jack Clark

Mr. Colby Jackson “Jack” Clark, age 83, of Barnesville passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his residence. He was born to the late Mr. James Martin Clark and to the late Mrs. Cora Etta Manley Clark. He was preceded in death by 5 brother and 6 sisters. Mr. Clark was a Veteran, having served in the U.S Army, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barnesville. He was a Cabinet Maker by trade, and a Maintenance Engineer for C&S Bank in Atlanta. Mr. Clark was also a lifetime member of the American Legion. Survivors include: His wife - Anna Jean Clark of Barnesville ; Daughter - Marcia Whittington Knight of Barnesville ; 2 Grandsons - Adam Whittington Foley (& Heather) of Barnesville ; & Andrew Corley Knight of San Francisco, CA ; 2 Great Grandchildren - Noah Alexander Foley & Olivia Anne Foley, both of Barnesville ; & a Number of Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Colby Jackson Clark will be conducted on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Jay Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, GA. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, March 15, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
