Obituary of Marjore Moye McClure

Marjorie McClure January 16th, 1924 - March 20th, 2011 Marjorie Moye McClure of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at Halifax Medical Center on March 20, 2011. All who knew and loved her will greatly miss her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Tomoka United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, 1000 Old Tomoka Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174 at 11:00 AM. Marjorie was an avid reader, loved music, and served as a Docent of the Daytona Symphony. She loved her family and friends, and those dearest to her were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marjorie retired with the Volusia County Tax Appraisers Office. She was a long-time member of the Business and Professional Women’s Association. Marjorie was a charter member of Tomoka United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, and particularly enjoyed the Children’s Ministry. Those who are left to cherish her memory are three sons, Dr. Joseph (wife: Joni) McClure, Jack Calvin McClure, and Andrew McClure; five grandchildren: Sydney, Joanna, Mark, Kelly and Luke, and 6 great grandchildren: Jack, June, Dylan, Emily, Bryce, and Aiden. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Ethel Moye, one brother, Lamar and one sister Charlotte. Condolences are welcome and may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes. Donations may be made in her memory to the Tomoka United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry. Arrangements are under the direct supervision of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home.
