Will and Ken, I send you my sincere condolenses in the loss of your Dad. I will always carry the memory of coming up there and spending the night back when Ken and I were in grade school and Mr. Sage taking us fishing in it seemed like 10 different places all in one day. Your Dad left a lots of great memories to cherish and be thankful for.L

As members of Jennifer's family we would like to extend our condolences and prayers. Even though we've only known Pepper for a short time, we could see what a blessing he was to his family. You all are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope that you can find peace during this difficult time. All our love,

Elaine and Pepper were the first people I met when I started working with the humane society. Pepper asked me--in what I would come to realize was classic Pepper style (tilted grin and mischievous tone)--whether I would be the one bringing the beer to the next adoption event. The animals lost a devoted and compassionate friend with his passing. His generous spirit, sense of humor, and caring manner will always be remembered.

Pepper was a wonderful person and friend. He and Elaine were part of the Humane Society "family" for years, and I will always remember him for his generosity, and great humor. Nothing ever seemed to get him down, even when a plain, little foster dog named "Star" never got adopted. He continued to sing her praises and bring her to evey adoption, even in frigid weather. Every Christmas, he would dress as Santa to do fundraiser "photos with Santa", and many of the Humane Society kids remember him as "Pepper Clause".
I considered him a great friend, and I'll miss him.
