Obituary of Alma Forehand

Mrs. Alma Geraldine Weatherly Forehand, age 85, of Barnesville passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 in a Macon Health Care Facility. Mrs. Forehand was born in Pike County to the late Mr. John Henry Weatherly and to the late Mrs. Bessie Smith Allen Weatherly. She was retired from the William Carter Company and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Survivors include 2 Daughters – Donna Brooks of KY ; Wanda Davis of Barnesville ; 4 Sons – Bruce Forehand of Barnesville ; Boyce Forehand of Barnesville ; Guy Forehand of Yuma, AZ ; & Kevin Forehand of Barnesville ; 3 Sisters – Jean Compton of Barnesville ; Dixie Wilkes of Monet, MO ; & Madge Cowan of Jacksonville, FL ; a Brother – Byron Weatherly of Jacksonville, FL ; & a number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, & Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Alma Forehand will be conducted Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 2 O’ Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends here at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers the Family request that Donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
