memories of Mother.. She loved puppies, kittens, and birds and truly enjoyed any kind of arts and crafts projects. She really had a decorative mind. She would decorate and then redecorate! I remember one night we watched America's Funniest Videos and laughed til we cried. She shared her heart with me regarding God and how she had made her peace with him, which gives me great comfort. Mother was very private about her life, and she had that right. I do not judge her, but truly wish I had gotten more quality time with her. I remember the 1st time I saw her and thought "She is so short!" She always said she was 4 foot -11 and one HALF inches tall :0) I smile thinking of that. She walked so very slowly but she just took her time to smell the roses. She once told me if you look up during a photo shoot that you look younger, and I did notice in most every photo she appeared to be studying something on the ceiling! These memories made me smile as I wrote them and hope they make you smile too.
