Obituary of Betty Hortman
Mrs. Betty Jane Glover Hortman, age 62, of Barnesville passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Hortman was born in Barnesville to the late Mr. Samuel Dwight Glover and to the late Mrs. Lillie Lee Berry Glover, and was preceded in death by three of her Brothers, Larry Glover, Eddie Glover, and Morris Glover. Mrs. Hortman was a Home Maker.
Survivors include 2 Daughters – Lisa Sanders Ross of Forsyth ; & Anita Michelle Hortman of Barnesville ; a Son – Shannon Dwayne Hortman of Barnesville ; 3 Sisters – Judith E. Chapman (& Leon) of Barnesville ; Eloise M. Kidd of Thomaston ; & Carol J. Mims (& Lee) of Macon ; 2 Brothers – Merlon (& Wanda) Glover of The Rock ; & Jerry Lee Glover of Pike County ; & 2 Grandchildren – James Felton Ross ; & Jayden Keith Paul.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Hortman will be conducted Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday evening, October 29, 2011 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
