Obituary of Sheila Manous

Mrs. Sheila Howell Manous, age 64, of Barnesville, GA gently took the hand of Jesus and departed this life Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born in Griffin, GA, and was a 1965 Graduate of Jonesboro High School. She moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in the mid 1970’s, where she lived and worked as a Real Estate agent for many years in the Volusia County area until she moved back to Griffin, GA. Once back in Griffin, she worked as a prayer partner for Creflo Dollar Ministries and TBN. She loved the Lord very much, and ministering to others was her passion. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Dorothy Goodrum Jones; her Father, Colvard Howell; her Brothers, Joey and Chris Howell; her Nieces, Whitney and Jordan Land; and her Nephew, Jeremy Howell. She will be deeply missed She is survived by her loving children: 2 daughters - Kerri Manous Gordon, & Trixy Manous ; and her son Shane Manous ; the love of her Mimi’s life, her granddaughter, Alyssa Gordon ; She is also survived by her sister, Rita Howell Williams; step-father, Ernest Jones; Sister-in-law, Shelia Parker Howell; Niece, Christy (& Mark) Cannafax; 4 Nephews - Kyle Hudson, Joseph (& Melissa) Howell, Josh (& Heather) Howell, & Cory Howell; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends. A Celebration of the life of Mrs. Sheila Manous will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11 O’Clock at Rock Springs Church, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257, with Pastor Ken Page officiating.
