Obituary of Doris McLean
Mrs. Doris Mae Fox McLean, age 89, of Griffin passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. Born in Lamar County to the late Mr. John Clay Fox and the late Mrs. Kitty Estelle English Fox, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Otis Melvin McLean. Mrs. McLean lived in Griffin for most of her life, and had worked as the Front End Manager for Colonial Breads / Big Star in Griffin.
Survivors include: Her son - Robert McLean (& Crystal) of Orchard Hill ; 2 Grandchildren - Mary Catherine McLean Cason (& William) of Orchard Hill & Clay McLean (& Emily) of Barnesville ; 1 Great Grandson - Cooper McLean of Barnesville ; 2 Sisters - Jean Hubbard of Williamson, & Faye Wilson of Griffin ; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, & Other Relatives.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris McLean will be conducted Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 6 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Ed Penland officiating. Entombment will be Private. Mrs. McLean will lie-in-state at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5pm until 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to Brightmoor Nursing Center, Activity Fund, 3235 Newnan Road, Griffin, GA 30223.
