Obituary of Thomas Anderson

Mr. Thomas Norman “T.J.” Anderson, Jr., age 33, of Barnesville passed away Friday, March 2, 2012. He was born in Upson County to Mr. Thomas Norman Anderson, Sr. and Mrs. Peggy Marcia Bates Anderson. T.J. was a Corrections Officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections, and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Mary Lassiter and Clinton Bates, by his Paternal Grandparents, Ben and Freda Anderson, and by his Best Friend, Shaun Canavaggio. T.J. was a very devoted father and husband, and he loved to make people laugh. Survivors include: His wife - Sherri Anderson of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Dakota Anderson of Barnesville ; 3 Daughters - Amberlyn Anderson, Katelyn Burdett, & Rachel Burdett, all of Barnesville ; His Mother - Peggy (& Joe) York of Barnesville ; His Father - Thomas (& Teresa) Anderson, Sr. of Barnesville ; 2 Sisters - Wendy (& Duane) Greer of Barnesville & Melissa (& Brad) White of Barnesville ; 1 Brother - Jamie (& Susin) Martin of Barnesville ; & A Number of other relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Thomas “T.J.” Anderson, Jr. will be conducted Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Drew Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 7pm until 9pm. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that Memorial Contributions be made to the Thomas Anderson, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o United Bank.
