Obituary of Jacquelyn Cooper

Mrs. Jacquelyn “Jackie” Burnette Cooper, age 74, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Cooper was a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and was born to the late Mr. William “W.T.” Burnette and the late Mrs. Jimmie Lou Shiver Burnette. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. Orman Emory Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was Retired as Assistant Vice President of Operations for The First National Bank of Barnesville, and was a member of the Barnesville Church of Christ. Survivors include: 1 Daughter - Cindy L. Grantham (& Kenny) of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Craig (& Suzanne) Cooper of Barnesville ; 2 Sisters - JoAnne (& Johnny) Jones of Sharpsburg, & Kathy (& Danny) Martin of Barnesville ; 2 Brothers - Bobby (& Bobbie) Burnette of Barnesville, & Jimmy (& Bobbie) Burnette of Barnesville ; 5 Grandchildren ; 6 Great Grandchildren ; & Numerous Nieces & Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackie Cooper will be conducted Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2 O’Clock in the Barnesville Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm.
