Obituary of Rachel Dingler

Mrs. Rachel Claudine Drake Dingler, age 93 of Barnesville passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 in a Thomaston Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Dingler was a native of Coweta County, but had made her home in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. John Luther Drake and the late Mrs. Pinky Mae McClendon Drake, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Manuel Bernice Dingler, and by a son, Mr. Bobby Dingler. Mrs. Dingler was Retired as a Sewing Machine Operator from The William Carter Company and had attended Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include: 1 Daughter - Mrs. Viola Schwartz of Macon, & 1 Sister - Mrs. Edith (& Bill) Sykes of Milner ; 4 Grandchildren ; & 4 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Claudine Dingler will be conducted Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm until the service hour.
