Mrs. Genevieve Lightfoot Brazier, age 78, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in a Bibb County healthcare facility. Mrs. Brazier was born in Macon, as the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Lightfoot and the late Mrs. Susie Johnson Lightfoot. She was a retired school teacher, having served in the Atlanta Public School System for over 30 years. Mrs. Brazier was a member of St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church in The Rock, GA. Survivors include: her husband - James Brazier, Jr. of Barnesville; 1 daughter - Maria Brazier Days (Kenneth, III) of Atlanta; 2 sons - Dean Brazier, Sr. (Julia) of Bessemer, AL, & James Michael Brazier (Rhonda Ware-Brazier) of Atlanta; 1 sister - Bettye Chambers of Los Angeles, CA; 1 sister-in-law - Annie Grace Booker of Atlanta; 1 brother/cousin - Alonzo Studstill of Chicago, IL; 9 grandchildren - Richard & J. Lowell Dunn, Dean, Jr., Sean, Jazmine, Ariana, & Ryan Brazier, & Kamryn & Kenneth, IV Days; 5 great-grandchildren - Myles, Mykhi, Jael, McKenzie, & Jalynn Dunn; & numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Funeral Services for Mrs. Genevieve Brazier will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 12 PM in St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church in The Rock, GA with Fr. Neil Herlihy officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to The American Diabetes Association, P.O.
