Obituary of Fred West

Mr. Fred John West, age 96, of Barnesville passed away September 09, 2012 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mr. West was born in Missouri to the late Mr. Frederick John West, Sr. and the late Mrs. Augustus Leach West. He was a Veteran, a member of Barnesville United Methodist Church, and an Antique Dealer. Mr. West was preceded in death by his Wife, Mrs. Lee C. West, and his only Son, Mr. John C. West Survivors include 2 Daughters – Pat Leggett (& Bud) of Barnesville ; Barbara Puckett (& Mike of Canton ; a Sister – Joy Bowden of Auburn, AL ; 7 Grandchildren ; 9 Great Grandchildren ; 6 Great Great Grandchildren ; & several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Fred John West will be conducted on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 2 O’ Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The Family will receive friends and the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 1 pm until the Service hour.
