Obituary of Robert Woodard

Mr. Robert Woodard, Jr., age 82, of Barnesville passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A native of Barnesville, Mr. Woodard was the son of the late Mr. Robert Woodard, Sr. and the late Mrs. Nina Mae Turner Woodard, and was also preceded in death by his wife, the late Mrs. Mary Helen Martin Woodard. Mr. Woodard retired from the William Carter Company. Survivors include: 1 Step-Daughter - Joanne Partain (& Edward) of Griffin ; 4 Nieces - Peggy York (& Joe) of Barnesville, Debby Dillard (& Dan) of Sharpsburg, Marcia Gladin of Riverdale, & Sandra Eaton (& Alan) of Canton ; 3 Nephews - Lon Vaughan (& Rene) of Brooksville, FL, Robert Bates (& Evelyn) of Madison, & Robert Vaughan of Ft. White, FL ; 1 Step-Grandson - Keith Partain (& Robin) of Zebulon ; 2 Step-Great Grand Daughters - Amanda Nemyer (& Drake), & Brandy Lane (& Vince) ; & 1 Step-Great Grandson - Trevor Farror. Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Woodard, Jr. will be conducted Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 3 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 2pm until the service hour.
