Obituary of Emma Seignious

Mrs. Emma Lou Burns Seignious, age 69, of Milner passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Seignious was a native of Chattanooga, TN, but had made her home in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. Jefferson Brisco Burns and the late Mrs. Jewel Grace Johnson Burns, she was a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Seignious was Retired as a Registered Nurse from Southern Regional Medical Center in Clayton County. Survivors include: Her Husband - Mr. LeRoy Seignious of Milner ; 2 Daughters - Mrs. Leasia (& Randy) Nelson of Stone Mountain ; & Mrs. Denise (& Marvin) Williams of Hoschton ; 2 Sisters - Anne Leigh of Ringgold ; & Fonda (& Terry) Abercrombie of Ringgold ; 6 Grandchildren ; & 5 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Lou Burns Seignious, will be conducted Monday, March 2, 2009 at 2 O’Clock in Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville. Interment will be Private.
