Obituary of Claudette Mitcham

Mrs. Claudette Gale Hirschner Mitcham, age 75, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in a Fulton County Healthcare Facility. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she had made her home in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. Carl Hirschner and the late Mrs. LaVerne Pearl Hayling Hirschner, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harold Mitcham, Jr.. Mrs. Mitcham was Retired as a Registered Nurse. Survivors include: 2 Sons – Louis (& Betsy) Mitcham of Cumming ; & Jeffrey Mitcham of Locust Grove ; 2 Daughters – Pamela (& Bob) Grasley of Barnesville ; & Elizabeth Legere of Barnesville ; 1 Sister – Nancy Peters of Plantation, FL ; 13 Grandchildren ; 8 Great Grandchildren ; & Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Claudette Gail Mitcham will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville is in charge of arrangements.
