Obituary of Annie Callaway

Mrs. Annie “Delores” Callaway, age 72, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Davis McBroom and the late Mrs. Annie Lee Parker McBroom, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Alton Callaway, Sr., and by her brother, Mr. William “Sonny” McBroom. Mrs. Callaway was a member of the Barnesville First Assembly of God. Survivors include: 1 Daughter - Lee Ann Thompson (& Mark) of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Chuck Callaway (& Laura) of Forsyth ; 4 Grandchildren - David Nicholas Whitner (& Rachel) of Barnesville, Jackson Callaway, Davis Callaway, and Mills Callaway, all of Forsyth ; & 1 Great Grand Daughter - Delia Natalie Whitner of Barnesville. Funeral Services for Mrs. Delores Callaway will be conducted Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2 O’Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Clarence Cravey officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm.
