Obituary of Cathey Sanders

Mrs. Cathey Sanders, 68, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Sanders was born October 1, 1946 in Atlanta, daughter of the late Lewis Wallace and Madlin Opal Hill Hornsby. She retired from Christian City Convalescent Center. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Forest Park Moose Lodge, loved bowling and was a fan of Elvis Presley. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Ron Sanders of Jonesboro; sons and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Vicki Forsyth of Milner, and Eric Matthew Forsyth of Jonesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Brenton Goin of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren, Matthew Forsyth, Andrew Forsyth, Eric Forsyth Jr., Hannah Forsyth, Callie Forsyth, Lee Scarborough and William Scarborough; four great-grandchildren, Blake Forsyth, James Forsyth, Benny Forsyth and William Forsyth, and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mrs. Cathey Sanders will be at 5:30 Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Vicki Forsyth, 393 Jones Road in Milner.
