Obituary of Luther Edward Bell

Mr. Luther Edward Bell Jr., 63, of Barnesville, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015, at his home. Mr. Bell was born March 9, 1951 in Savannah, Georgia, son of Pauline W. Bell and the late Luther Edward Bell, Sr. He was a manager at Bell Holding Coal Mine and an alumni of Gordon Military College. Mr. Bell was a family man and he loved spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Denise Oliver Bell of Barnesville; daughter, Trudy J. Bell of Savannah; sons and daughters-in-law, Luther Edward (Luke) Bell, III and Jessica of Stutgart, Germany; and Charles Matthew (Matt) Bell and Jackie of Beaver, West Virginia, son, Jeff Holshouser, Salisbury, NC, stepson, John Dustin Underwood of Guam; grandchildren, Kenna Rawson, Charlie Bell and Seth Bell; great-grandson, Avery; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Bell and two brothers, David Bell and Dennis Bell. Memorial services will be at 11:00 Thursday at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Rev.
