Obituary of Lynn Ware Wilson

Mr. Lynn Ware Wilson, age 69, a native of Barnesville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was born December 25, 1945, son of the late Mr. Ray Wilson and the late Frankie Ware Wilson. He was a Navy veteran and a former Barnesville City Councilman for 26 years. Mr. Wilson was an attorney, practicing for over 40 years. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jeffrey Sue Behm Wilson; sons, Zack Wilson and Rick Wilson; and one cherished granddaughter, Callie Anne Wilson. Memorial services for Mr. Wilson will be at 2:00 Saturday at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Rev. Garth Forster officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mr. Wilson to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607, or to the Lamar County Animal Shelter Building Fund, Community Foundation of Central Georgia, 577 Mulberry Street, Suite 1600, Macon GA 31201.
