Obituary of Wynelle Marina Williams

Mrs. Wynelle M. Carcas “Cookie” Williams, age 75, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, Georgia.

Cookie was born on Monday, March 1, 1943 in Macon, Georgia to the late Ernest Carcas and the late Leslie Wynelle Burnette Carcas. She was preceded in death by first husband, Donald Ibert Taylor. Cookie enjoyed shopping at flea market, gardening and camping. She attended the Barnesville First Assembly of God.

Cookie is survived by her husband, Cecil Williams; children, Greg Taylor (Christi), Sandy Taylor, Carla Williams (Bill), and Charles Cecil Williams, Jr. (Angela); seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Maria Stephens (Bucky); brother, Ernie Carcas (Elena); several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Wynelle “Cookie” Williams will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Barnesville First Assembly of God, 552 HWY 18 West, Barnesville, Georgia 30204. Reverend Tim Calvert will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
