My condolences to the family and all who loved Stell. The seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. But we can have confidence that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. (Job 14:14,15) His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

Dr. Traylor, Blake's father was the family doctor, and delivered me, at home. Blake was the first "child" I ever met. Basically, we knew and enjoyed each other all our lives. We fished together and swam together in "the pond."
We hunted together on the "farm," not far from the Traylor's home, while our parents "visited." Which we often did.
We stayed in touch, all our lives, as did our parents. I joined Blake in the 10th Grade at Gordon, as a class officer.
When he transferred to Darlington, I rode up with Blake and his parents. Whenever I came to Barnesville, I stayed with the Traylor's, and later, with Blake.
I shall miss my oldest friend. Semper Fi, Blake

My sincere sympathy to the family of Blake...I have so many fond memories of him , his sister , his dear mother Ruby and father, Dr Traylor....Me and Mary Frances were classmates and friends all through school and attended the same church...Mrs. Traylor was church organist for years...All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time...

Blake was always so kind to my Mama, Jean Kennedy, who passed away on Oct. 6. He would bring her peaches and strawberries when he went to Dickies. We enjoyed it when he would stop by and sit and chat or when he joined us for lunch or dinner at the big house. I was very touched that even though he hadn’t been well he came to Mama’s visitation to offer his condolences.
