I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr Buddy. I was proud to call him my friend. He would come through my line at Giant Mart and always have a kind word to say or a Happy Birthday( even when no one else remembered). He may not have been able to see well but he had a mind that was like a steel trap. He was fiercely independent. I hated to when he had the stroke a few years back, but it didn't surprise me in the least that he went from being in the nursing home to being back in his own home. I always figured that one day I would see him walking back into Giant Mart on his own, but it was not meant to be. When he was able to, the lady who took care of him would bring him in to shop and he would speak a few minutes and be on his way in that wheel chair getting what he wanted. Thanks to me taking him home one 4th of July, I have a big Siamese kitty cat to remind me of him. Someone had dropped the little guy off and Mr. Buddy didn't want him to get hurt. I guess he knew I was a sucker for animals, but my daughter was with me and that was his insurance that the kitty was going with me. Well played Mr. Buddy.=) I hope that you are running down the streets of Heaven and taking in all the beautiful sights. Fly high our dear friend!!!!

I missed seeing Buddy on his walks. I think about him every time I'm in Barnesville. Also his sweet mother who sat by her big window and prayed.
