What a wonderful sweet lady, so saddened to hear of her passing. Had just spoken to her and we talked about her going to the gym and riding to bike. We were so sorry to hear of Emily's death. There are many fond memories by our family of Emily from childhood through adulthood. You are in our prayers as you mourn her loss. It was really difficult for Rita to hear of her loss.
Rita Harrell Fackler - loved Emily and has shared many memories over the years with me. She is widowed and is in an assited living in Albany. She came to Griffin a couple of years ago with Nuvel and Anne to attend a concert and was able to see Emily then.
Jackie Dockery Shrum - Rita's sister and Sara & Wayne's daughter. I grew up hear all about Emily and what a fine woman she was from Mom, Rita, Granny and Aunt Jenny. Nuvel and I are just a few months different in age and have reconnected over the years.
You and your family has blessed ours for many years. May God comfort you during this time.

I was so sad to hear of Ms. Emily's passing. She was a sweet and loving person. I will never forget the times she visited my family when Jeff was so sick and in Hospice. She will be missed!
