Obituary of Nathaniel Ray Suggs
Mr. Nathaniel Ray Suggs, age 38, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Nathan was born on Monday, February 28, 1983 to Willie Ray Suggs and Nancy Harp Rooks. He is also preceded in death by his niece, Freya Wilson.
Nathan was one of a kind! He had a heart of gold! He had an infectious smile and could cheer up anyone with his fun loving goofy personality! Nathan was very caring and compassionate! He loved to help people. He would help anyone...it didn’t matter who you were, a friend or not.
Nathan loved to be outdoors. He had a love for nature and wild life. He’d nurse back any animal that needed help. He had a green thumb and loved to work with his hands. He loved to plant all kinds of trees, plants, and flowers. Nathan ran his own landscaping crew. He really loved and enjoyed what he did!
Nathan was a servant for the Lord! He loved to serve people and it made him proud to see that he made so many people happy.
Nathan was a fun loving uncle, not only to his own niece and nephews, but to his friend’s children as well. Uncle Nate! Nathan loved his friends and would go the extra mile for all of them. To know Nathan was to love him!
Nathan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Nancy & Wade Rooks; father and stepmother, Willie & Dana Suggs; sister, Crystal Suggs; niece, Danica Defranco; nephews, Byron Wilson and Wyatt Wilson; sister, Nicole Suggs; brother, Will Suggs; grandparents, Frances & Cecil Harp, Dalwyn Suggs, Carol & Roy Kirkpatrick; uncle and aunt, Ricky & Robin Harp; aunt and uncle, Barbara & Travis Allison; uncle and aunt, Mike & Susie Suggs; aunts and uncles, Dennise & Jeff Morgan, Jeanean & Rusty Brooks; lots of wonderful cousins also survive.
Services for Nathaniel Suggs will be private. The family will receive family and close friends on Friday, March 12th, between 1-5pm at his residence.
