Obituary of Dianna Buchanan Borders

Ms. Dianna Buchanan Borders went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2021 at Upson Regional Hospital in Thomaston. Dianna was born on Friday, September 12, 1952 to parents Aubrey C. Buchanan and Elvie Jean Savage in Meridian, Mississippi. She loved her family, her country, and the Atlanta Braves. Dianna enjoyed looking at antiques, cooking, and had a heart for animals. Dianna was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Barnesville and was a wonderful artist. Dianna is preceded in death by her father, Aubrey C. Buchanan; son, Cliff Borders; and grandson, Seth Borders. Those left to cherish the memory of Dianna is her daughter, Michelle Borders; mother, Jean Buchanan; life partner, Kenneth Johnson (and family); grandchildren, Ian Ali, Kendall Borders, Zack Borders, Anna Grace Borders, and Logan Borders; brothers, Richard Buchanan (Pam), and John Buchanan (Lisa); sister, Regina Gordon (Wayne); and a host of extended family that will also cherish her memory. A memorial service for Ms. Dianna Buchanan Borders will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Barnesville with Rev. Garth Forster and Rev. Jason Teal officiating the service. The family will greet friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service at the church.
