Aubrey, Gene and I appreciated how you and Sarah opened your home and treated us like family when we came to visit Becky. My Gene passed away a year ago, following a botched surgery which necessitated a second surgery followed by medical retirement. After that, his health failed daily and his will to live abandoned him. Please, understand that I can empathize with you, and that I pray for Sarah's peace in her new heavenly home where she can rest pain free.

I met Sarah and Aubrey at Vogelweh Elementary in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Sarah was always a sweet and happy person who always had a story to tell. I remember saying to her one day “I can’t wait until Friday!” And she told me, you’d better be careful…you’re wishing you life away!” Sarah was right! From that moment on I tried to follow her example to live in the moment and find joy in each day. Sarah, I will miss your smile and your precious laugh, until we meet again.
