Obituary of Jean Alice Thomas

Mrs. Eugenia “Jean” Alice Suchan Thomas, age 91, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Riverside Health & Rehab Center. Jean was born on Saturday, August 30, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Michael Suchan and the late Margaret Kucheran Suchan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Owen Thomas; sister, Elaine Kallay; brother, Melvin Suchan. Jean enjoyed doing embroidery as well as gardening. She was a member of St. Peter The Rock Catholic Church. Jean is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindy & Rick Brunson; grandchildren and their spouses, Katie Mendiola, Sarah & Richard Cooper, Drew & Jess Brunson; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Jean Thomas will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville with Father Thomas Zahuta officiating.
