Obituary of LaDonna Kay Bowden

Mrs. LaDonna Kay Bowden, age 62, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at her home.

LaDonna was born on Monday, February 15, 1960, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to John Weldon Skelton & the late Catherine Myrtle Norris. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Myrtle Norris. LaDonna loved her grandbabies. She was a Georgia Bulldogs fan, she also enjoyed going to the mountains as well as the beach. But, most of all, she loved her God.

LaDonna is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Charles Stanley Bowden, Jr.; children and their spouses, Kimberly Ann & Ronald Nale, Joey & Ashley Bowden; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nale, James Nale, Emma Bowden, Drew Bowden; father, Joe Skelton; siblings, John Skelton, Terri & Mark Buck; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. LaDonna Kay Bowden will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Charles Killingsworth officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church. Interment will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery.

Following the burial, the family will receive friends at Joey's 1115 McCollum Road, Barnesville, Georgia 30204.
