Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Aldridge

Please share a memory of Jennifer to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jennifer Lynn Aldridge (Weaver) died peacefully on July 31st after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was 42 years old. She passed with her sister Sarah by her side and her whole family had been with her earlier in the day telling stories and reminiscing. Jennifer attended Mary Persons High School in Monroe County. Jennifer was a great lover of pets and especially cats. Her pet cats over the years were always well cared for and they loved her in return. Her cat, Storm loved Jen and often curled up with her in bed or in a chair. Jennifer loved Halloween and the Nightmare before Christmas was her favorite. She had images and knick knacks for Jack and Sally throughout her home. Jennifer loved the simplest pleasures in life. She loved the beach and often camped at Cape San Blas in Florida and traveled to Disney World many times. Jennifer was the oldest of four children and cared for her younger siblings like a mother. Jennifer had recently reaffirmed her faith at church with a close friend,  Debbie kitchens. She is preceded in death by her mother Leanne Hager in 2021. She is survived by her daughters Savanna and Kaylie and her siblings Michelle Weaver, Norman Weaver and Sarah Smith. Additional beloved relatives include Justin Smith and children Flint, Mason and Ridge Smith, Uncle Brad Hager and Aunt Michelle Hager and cousin Ethan Hager.

A private celebration of her life will be held on August 20th with close friends and family.
