Obituary of Louie Lee Staples

Mr. Louie Lee Staples, age 67, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home. 

Louie was born on Monday, December 13, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Louie Staples and the late Jimmie Ruth Everette Staples. Along with his parents, Louie was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Staples; sister, Doris Gebhardt; mother-in-law, Betty Wright. Louie retired from Roadway Express after many years of service. He enjoyed grilling, hunting, fishing and finding new places to eat. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew. 

Louie is survived by his son, Jeremy Lee Staples; granddaughter, Jada Staples; sister and brother-in-law, Debra & Timothy Earl Carter; nephews and their spouses, Timothy Louie Carter (Kimberly), Jimmy Earl Carter (Ashley Taylor); great-nephew, Jamieson West Carter; brother-in-law, Jimmy Gebhardt; as well as several cousins. 

Graveside Memorial Services for Mr. Louie Lee Staples will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 3:30 P.M. in Lamar Memory Gardens with Mr. Billy McKinley and Pastor Gene Luke officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. 

Following the service, The Good Shepherd Church will be providing refreshments for anyone who would like to attend. Zebulon Street, Barnesville, Georgia 30204.
