Obituary of Trudy Ann Williams

Mrs. Trudy Ann Mickler Williams, age 90, of Yatesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Trudy was born on Monday, September 25, 1933, in Jasper, Florida to the late John Mickler and the late Lillie Garrett Mickler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edgar Williams, Sr; as well as their son, Bud Williams. Trudy owned Po Boys Flowers and Gifts for many years. She had a great love for flowers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Trudy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Denise Williams; granddaughter, Katie Lee; great-grandchildren, Jordan Greene and Christopher Nelson; sisters, Dorothy Abbott and Evelyn Driggers; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Trudy Williams will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Lee, Florida with Pastor Matt Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607, in memory of Trudy.
